Your privacy is important to us. Below you will find an explanation of what information we collect from you and how that information is used in the CDSS Dance Map application.

When you use Facebook to log in to the CDSS Dance Map, you grant this application access to your public profile information. This includes your name, profile picture, and other public information. Like most website operators, The CDSS Dance Map collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The CDSS Dance Map’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how its visitors use the application.
The CDSS Dance Map also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for users that add dances or edit dance information. This information is used to keep track of map additions and prevent spam and other malicious activity.
Certain visitors may choose to interact with The CDSS Dance Map in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that the CDSS Dance Map gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. In each case, the CDSS Dance Map collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with the application. We do not disclose personally-identifying information with third parties, and visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
